Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of stratostar.com (the “Site”), operated by StratoStar Systems LLC. By using the Site, you agree to them.

1. The Site is informational

The Site describes StratoStar's services and lets you contact us. Nothing on the Site is a binding offer or a quote. Actual flight services are provided only under a separately signed StratoStar Service Agreement (FQS or IFS). If anything on the Site conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.

2. No guarantees on Site content

We work to keep the Site accurate, but specifications, timelines, pricing references, and availability can change without notice. Published figures (altitudes, weights, recovery rate, typical timelines) describe our general experience, not a promise for any specific mission — those terms are set in your agreement.

3. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Site: no attempts to break security, scrape abusively, disrupt service, or use it unlawfully.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's content, branding, text, imagery, and mission footage are StratoStar's property (or used with permission) and may not be reused without written permission.

Flight data and mission media.Ownership of data and media from an actual mission is governed by your signed Service Agreement (§8), not this Site. In summary: you own the data your payload generates — including any imagery captured by your own payload — while StratoStar owns the platform and environmental data, the flight video and photo media collected on StratoStar's cameras, and StratoStar's own analysis and reports. You are licensed to use everything included in your Flight Data Package, with credit to StratoStar. If anything here conflicts with your signed agreement, the agreement controls.

5. Submissions

Information you submit through Site forms is handled per our Privacy Policy. Don't submit export-controlled, classified, or third-party-confidential information through the Site's general forms — sensitive payload details are handled under NDA and the service agreement process.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites we don't control and aren't responsible for.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, StratoStar isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the Site. Service-related liability is governed by the signed agreement, not this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, consistent with the StratoStar Service Agreements' governing-law clause.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
